However, if I turn these knobs up, the click can be heard rising in the background while I'm turning the knobs. If I turn the tone/volume knob all the way down on my guitar, the click is no longer recorded on the track. I tried something else though, I let the track record with no guitar playing and the click on. I even solo'd the "tracking" track and did a quick recording, still the click is there. So I just tried this and I can still hear the click in track. I hope that was easy to follow! I've included pictures below for reference.

I should note that I take the FX of my "Tracking" track and paste them into "Gtr 1" and "Gtr 2." Also, I turn off the metronome during playback so I can hear the track better.

I repeat this process and take the 2nd take and put it into "Gtr 2," panning it hard right. I take the recorded track and put it into "Gtr 1," pan it hard left. Step 2: I open Reaper, load a "riffing" template that I made, setup my VSTs (usually one amp sim and one cab sim/impulse) set the metronome, and begin recording. (For whatever reason, this gives me the best sound for my dry guitar) I then go to MixControl, set the input to Instrument and pad it. I use the 1st input for microphone purposes. Step 1: I plug my guitar into the 2nd input on my 6i6. I'm going to try and make my process as concise as possible: I've rendered the track and the click is still present. One idea. Are you sure that you have Reaper set to "see" the interface? If you look in the audio preferences, is the interface selected as the default device? This may sound redundant, but can you describe the steps you take to track and listen back? Maybe multiple screenshots along the way? I have this feeling that this is something basic that we are missing because we don't know how to recreate the scenario. Have you tried rendering the guitar track and listening back to see if it is still there? Maybe upload a small pice so we can hear this? It's possible that the amp-sim makes it easier to hear the bleed (I bet the output when enabled is louder and distorted/crunchy, so it is amplifying everything). And a vst can't reroute it's audio through Reaper, they don't work that way.
